10 big EastEnders Christmas spoilers revealed from Lauren and Abi’s exits to Max’s murder twist

There are a fair few traditions that make Christmas what it is in the UK. The Coca Cola advert will run on TV and kick it all off, the kids will get up before the crack of dawn on Christmas morning and the best meal of the fortnight will be the leftover dinner shoved into a sandwich on Boxing Day. 

But the biggest tradition is that EastEnders will be dark, miserable, dramatic and horrific for all of the characters – and we wouldn’t have it any other way. This year, it is shaping up to be a spectacular series of episodes and the grit is notched up a fair few levels as several storylines explode in catastrophic fashion.

We’re into December now and you really should have started your Christmas shopping, lads. So it’s about time we took a detailed look at what the (un)festive season has in store for Albert Square.
