Tottenham take on Red Star Belgrade tonight knowing a win will put them in a great position to progress to the Champions League knockout phase.

Spurs are a point ahead of their opponents this evening in second in Group B and victory in Serbia would see them put one foot in the next round.

But Mauricio Pochettino’s side have struggled for form all season long and will face the daunting task of playing in Red Star’s intimidating Rajko Mitic Stadium tonight.

The Serbian champions beat Liverpool 2-0 at home in the Europe’s elite competition last November.


Red Star Belgrade vs Tottenham: Date and kick-off time

The fourth game in Group B will be held on Wednesday, November 6 and will kick-off at 8pm GMT.

Spurs beat Red Star 5-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium two weeks ago with Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min both bagging braces.

Their only previous meeting was in the third round of the 1972/73 UEFA Cup which Spurs won 2-1 on aggregate.

Going into tonight’s game, Tottenham drew 1-1 at Everton in the Premier League on Sunday while Red Star claimed a 2-0 league win away to Proleter Novi Sad.
