HEAVYWEIGHT KING ADDS TWO NEW PAD MEN TO HIS CAMP
Anthony Joshua has made two new additions to his coaching team as he bids to win back his heavyweight titles next month in a crucial rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia.
The Daily Mail claim the Watford-born fighter has made some final touches to his training camp, with both Angel Fernandez and Joby Clayton joining his ranks.

Joshua has remained loyal to his head coach Rob McCracken, who came in for heavy criticism after the former was knocked down four times on the way to sensational stoppage defeat by Ruiz Jr back in June.

McCracken, who has previously guided Joshua to the unified heavyweight titles, revealed ‘new faces’ would join AJ’s training team in the wake of that defeat.

And those behind-the-scenes changes have indeed come to fruition, with Fernandez, who coaches British cruiserweight Isaac Chamberlain, now on board.

Clayton, who has been involved in boxing for nearly three decades, has also earned himself a role in the revamped set-up.

Joshua’s team maintain that McCracken remains in charge of the operation, with the arrival of two new pad men allowing him to have more of a broad-ranging role.

“Under the guidance and instruction of head coach Rob McCracken, Anthony and Robert have complimented his team in this camp by using the services of two specialist coaches,” a spokesman for Team AJ said.

FURY JR SET FOR COMEBACK

British light-heavyweight Tommy Fury is set to return to the ring for the first time in 12 months when he fights on Daniel Dubois’ undercard at the Copper Box Arena on December 21.

Fury, younger brother of Tyson, had two professional contests before entering into ITV2 reality dating show Love Island.

Social media stars KSI and Logan Paul will settle their rivalry once and for all this weekend as they go head-to-head in a boxing ring once more – this time on the professional scene.

They are two of the most popular internet personalities in the world, with over 40 million subscribers to their respective YouTube channels.

Tempers have been brewing ahead of the encounter, with Logan Paul’s coach Shannon Briggs clashing with KSI – both during and after the pre-fight press conference.

The latter took to social media on Friday to clarify his comments that he wants to ‘f****** kill’ opponent Paul.

“Just want to clarify a statement I made yesterday at the press conference,” he tweeted.

“I don’t intend to kill Logan physically tomorrow, I only intend to kill his YouTube career and spirit.

The Staples Centre undercard features two world title bouts, with Billy Joe Saunders defending his WBO super-middleweight crown and Devin Haney looking to keep a hold of his new WBC lightweight belt.
