The build-up to the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch got even uglier on Friday as the weigh-in descended into a scrap between the two teams.
Former heavyweight world champion Shannon Briggs, working as Paul’s trainer, clashed with three members of KSI’s corner in an ugly brawl.
KSI’s English trainer Viddal Riley, his manager Amer Abdullah and two-weight world champion Badou Jack were all involved in the melee, with Abdullah getting shoved in the throat as both camps tried to leave the stage.
KSI, real name Olajide Olayinka Williams, weighed in at 193lbs while Paul was heavier but more toned at 199lbs for their first pro fight.
Paul said: “I am sick of the smack talk, it is time to let my fists do it.
“I walk around at 205lbs and I have weighed in at 199lbs, it was perfect for me.
“The bandana comes off tomorrow and I am going to beat on his big forehead.”
Watford man KSI said: “Logan should have beaten me in the first fight but he blew his last opportunity.
“My team is stacked and he just has a hype man in Shannon Briggs.
“He knows he is finished, he knows nothing about boxing. He does not understand the levels.”
