Jordan Henderson and Joe Gomez will miss England’s final UEFA EURO 2020 qualifier in Kosovo on Sunday, the FA has announced.
Liverpool ace Gomez, 22, was jeered by a section of the home support at Wembley Stadium when he came off the bench in second half of the huge win that booked their place at Euro 2020.
But the central defender will play no part in the match after picking up a knock following a clash with Kieran Trippier in training.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has also been ruled out of the match after he arrived at the training camp with a viral infection.
The pair now return to their club meaning the Three Lions will head to Pristina on Saturday with a 23-man squad.
