Ian Wright’s antics on I’m A Celebrity left his colleagues Lee Dixon and Glenn Hoddle laughing their heads off and even Roy Keane managed to crack a smile.
The former Arsenal and England striker is in Australia for the popular TV show and one of his first tasks was to balance precariously on the edge of a 300ft tall skyscraper, where he had to stamp on a buzzer when the light changed to green.
As Wright, 56, teetered on the edge, understandably nervous, his fellow ITV pundits found the balancing act highly amusing.
After covering England’s final Euro 2020 qualifier against Kosovo, which ended in a comfortable 4-0 win for Gareth Southgate’s side, Keane and co. decided to find out how their friend was doing on the other side of the world.
Presenter Mark Pougatch shared images of Hoddle, Dixon and the rest of the crew laughing at Wright’s expense, while former Manchester United midfielder Keane, who is famed for his no nonsense attitude and candid comments, also managed to be tickled by what he was watching.
Having completed the task Wright said: “That wind, man, the most frightening thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
Wright, who is also a regular on Match of the Day, has been installed as the bookies favourite to win and take the crown from Harry Redknapp who won it last year.
