David De Gea equalled the Premier League record for most saves made in a single match as his heroics earned Manchester United victory over Arsenal on Saturday.

Although the Red Devils emerged as 3-1 victors at the Emirates Stadium, they were under a huge amount of pressure throughout the contest and were totally reliant on De Gea.

Incredibly, according to Opta, he made 14 saves in the match – the joint most by any goalkeeper since they started recording statistics at the start of the 2003/04 season.
