Director Bryan Singer fired from Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, by Twentieth Century Fox

Bryan Singer has been fired from the production of Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody.

‘Bryan Singer is no longer the director of Bohemian Rhapsody,’ the studio said in a statement.

The film has been shooting in London; on December 1 studio Twentieth Century Fox confirmed that due to the ‘unexpected unavailability’ of Singer, the production had been put on hold.

It is thought that the decision ‘reflected a growing clash between Singer and actor Rami Malek and was caused by Singer’s being missing from the set’.
