Goalkeeper wins Benevento’s first point of the season with last-minute goal against AC Milan

Benevento may as well just erect Alberto Brignoli’s statue outside their stadium immediately.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper produced the moment of the footballing weekend with an incredible last-gasp goal for his side in their 2-2 draw with Serie A giants AC Milan.

Benevento had not managed a single point in the league up until Sunday afternoon but Brignoli wasn’t having any of it as Gennaro Gattuso’s men went 2-1 in front at Stadio Ciro Vigorito.
