Mesut Ozil makes special approach to Manchester United’s coaches after Arsenal defeat

Mesut Ozil made a point of approaching Manchester United’s coaching staff in the aftermath of Arsenal’s defeat on Saturday evening.

Arsene Wenger’s side fell to a 3-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium and were trailing by two goals after just 11 minutes following strikes from Antonio Valencia and Jesse Lingard.

Alexandre Lacazette found the net early in the second half to provide a lifeline for Arsenal but Lingard scored his second of the game to secure three points for Mourinho’s men, who also had Paul Pogba sent off.

Ahead of the match, Mourinho remained coy over United’s link with Ozil.
