Richard Hammond has ‘entirely rejected’ claims that he is homophobic in response to backlash over comments he made about ‘coming out’.

‘That’s just not the case,’ he said.

‘The very last thing I am is in any way anti-gay. And I said I believe that love is love is love.’

His comments come after he was also forced to defend remarks he made on The Grand Tour with Jeremy Clarkson in which he suggested that men that eat ice cream are ‘gay‘.
