Max Holloway repeated the trick against Jose Aldo as he stopped the former unbeatable featherweight king at UFC 218.
The featherweight champion was defending his title for the first time against the man he stripped of the 145-pound belt in June.
Holloway ended Aldo’s resistance in the final seconds of third round, with a stoppage that was eerily similar to the finish he used six months earlier.
A tiring Aldo was swamped by Holloway who once again opted to reserve his energy in the first rounds and pounce in the third.
