Woman weighing 24 stone clutches smoothie as she’s cut out of her house

A morbidly-obese 24 stone woman who became too big for her own house clutched her favourite smoothie as she was cut out by rescuers.

Rattanaporn Polthep, 25, slipped and broke both of her legs in October, leaving her unable to walk and with painful bed sores on her back.

Her family contacted rescuers who arrived at the small home in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday and spent a whole day carrying her to hospital.
